“Take and bake” pizza may be adapting a whole new meaning. Restaurant delivered marijuana in pizza boxes to customers.
A Medford, Massachusetts pizza maker was recently arrested on charges of marijuana trafficking. Evidently, the restaurant delivered marijuana in pizza boxes to customers aware of its extra menu item. This is not the first time a pizza joint has been involved in marijuana trafficking, of course. $1 million worth of marijuana were seized from a Toronto, Canada pizza joint back in February, one of the largest margherita-marijuana busts on record.
According to customers of the Massachusetts pizza parlor, news of the joint’s extra business came as somewhat of a surprise. Nonetheless, more than $750,000 of marijuana was seized in total. The pizza parlor’s owner was recently released on $15,000 bail.
