For many people in the United States, Marijuana is the drug of choice. People think that marijuana is a safe drug and that it is not addictive. However, Marijuana is addictive and over 150,000 people a year develop a dependency to it. Many people develop what is thought to be a compulsive addiction to marijuana. This addiction is characterized by increased tolerance to THC, inability to cut back on the amount used, excessive time spent using the drug, and reclusiveness.
