Access To Recovery Alcohol & Drug Rehab Centers In West Virginia
West Virginia Access to Recovery Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centers
The Access to Recovery (ATR) program was a resource established, implemented, and funded by the Department of Health and Human Services to help make treatment more accessible and affordable for patients with limited means. The primary roles of the program included expanding consumer choice for treatment, tracking and improving outcomes, and increasing capacity. ATR also aimed to include faith-based and community-based providers in service delivery to reach populations that might otherwise not receive treatment or recovery support services. The program provided vouchers to eligible patients to help improve their range of choices for alcohol and drug treatment. West Virginia’s ATR program was retired in 2018.
